Dove Dry Shampoo | Review

Over the Christmas holidays I decided to give Dove's dry shampoo a try since it's not really a tie-your-hair-up-in-a-bun-and-go time of year and more of a look your best most days for parties, etc.

Dove Dry Shampoo Review

My hair is naturally curly which is fine most of the time but when I want it to be a more sleek, glammed up look I always start with straightening it first. If you straighten your hair you know that you don't want to do that every day. Both because of time and putting heat on your hair too much just isn't very good. I came across Dove's dry shampoo while in the drugstore looking for some new beauty and hair products to try out. It claims to absorb oil between washes so hair looks and feels refreshed and being generously under $10 it made good economical sense as well. My goal was to get maybe three days per regular shampoo instead of two.

The dry shampoo did what it claimed to do. It definitely refreshed my hair and as an added plus added the much need volume I was lacking by day three. It smells great and doesn't add any weight to my hair. I was a little alarmed by how powdery it is when it goes on but it did easily disappear when brushed through. A portion of the purchase is directed to the Dove Self-Esteem Fund as well.

I do really like this product and will definitely repurchase!
