How to make a cake with a tie dyed or rainbow effect.
When making my grandson's Mario themed birthday cake, I decided to make the actual cake with a tie dyed or rainbow effect. We made tie dyed cupcakes last year for his birthday and they were a huge hit! Since then, tie dyed or rainbow cakes and cupcakes have been a heavily requested item.

For this one I used red, yellow, green and blue coloured batter alternating the four colours by the spoonful until all of the batter was gone.

It's always so much fun to see everyone's faces when the cake is cut into and it's so colourful, not just plain cake!

It's super easy to do and so much fin! Watch the video and give it a try!
You'll be hearing a lot of "OH WOW!!".
