New Circles | Reaching community with integrity and respect

Several times a year we go through the closets fishing out what doesn't fit, what can or can't be handed down and what isn't being worn. Every time I am astonished at how many things (clothes, shoes, coats, etc) are in perfect condition, completely wearable. No stains, no rips. Some still have tags. It always leads me to think about all the families who don't have enough. Good, hardworking families who want the same for theirs as I want for mine.

This year I am donating my gently used but still in good shape clothing items to a wonderful New Circles organization,

New Circles is a not-for-profit social service agency whose primary service is to provide new and gently used clothing items for men, women and children to residents of the City of Toronto - focusing on the Flemingdon Park, Thorncliffe Park and Victoria Village communities. Staff and volunteers adhere to the organizations core values of approaching their clients with respect, caring and integrity while honouring the diverse cultures, religions and identities within the communities they serve.

They also provide referral services to other agencies and resources, Volunteer Employment Programs and a Seniors Mobile Mall. New Circles also runs a Holiday Angel Program and a Prom Boutique to assist families at these special times and inhibit anyone from missing out due to financial strain.

Donations of new and gently used clothing items can be made during their regular business hours in person at their location:
10 Gateway Blvd, Suite 100
Toronto, ON
M3C 3A1
(Just south of Don Mills & Eglinton)

Monetary donations are also accepted at their office, through United Way and via
