QUICK VEGAN BREAKFAST IDEAS | 3 Easy + Healthy PLANT BASED recipes

Hey guys! I'm making three super easy, incredibly healthy breakfast recipes that I make on the regular. Sometimes I need something quick and light and other times I want something filling and hearty. Avocado toast, oatmeal and smoothie bowls are some of my favorite ways to get a delicious, nutritious start to my day

AVOCADO TOAST

1. AVOCADO TOAST

This is my usual, go-to breakfast.... or lunch. Or whenever. If you follow my Instagram you know that I love avocado. It's just good. Really good. AND, this is easy to make. This version requires

  • dark rye

  • avocado

  • half of a lemon

  • chia seeds

  • tomato

  • cucumber

  • fresh grated pepper

OATMEAL

2. OATMEAL WITH GOJI BERRIES & WALNUTS

Perfect for a cold morning or a day filled with busy. I like to have a big bowl of oatmeal on days that I know I'm going to be doing an intense workout or if my schedule is such that I'm not sure when I'll eat next. This time I used,

  • large flake oats

  • oat milk, vanilla unsweetened

  • dried Goji berries

  • walnuts pieces

  • chia seeds

  • moringa powder

  • cinnamon

  • pure, organic maple syrup

SMOOTHIE BOWL

3. VERY, BERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL

Making a smoothie and throwing it in a sports bottle is cool and all but I love to put it in a bowl and add fruit, nuts, seeds, etc to add flavour and nutrients. There are endless ways to make a smoothie bowl and you can add protein powder to it as well!In this bowl

  • frozen bananas

  • frozen berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)

  • oat milk, vanilla unsweetened

  • chia seeds

  • moringa powder

and topped with

  • berries

  • walnuts

  • chia seeds

  • moringa powder

I use chia seeds, hemp seeds, flax seeds and moringa powder a lot. The seeds are excellent sources of plant based omega-3 and Moringa is an amazing little superfood high in Vitamins C, B6 and A, Iron and Calcium.Watch the video to see how I made them!SHOP THIS POST
