For my grandson's 2nd birthday party we made tie-dyed cupcakes!

It is super easy and loads of fun!

We used four colours this time to match the theme

of Yo Gabba Gabba, DJ Lance is a particular favourite around here!

Split the cake batter into four and colour with paste or gels

Spoon into lined cupcake tins and bake

Super awesome already!

Split the buttercream icing in the same manner as the batter and colour

Prepare your icing bag with a Wilton 2D tip and then add the four colours to the bag trying if you can to get them side by side.

Bunch the top of the bag and twist down to merge the coloured icing at the bottom.

Swirl the icing onto your cupcakes (the effect will get better and better as you go along).

Top off with sprinkles... #yum
